THANK YOU to Crewmembers of the USS New York (LPD 21) who volunteered their time all day yesterday! They sanded, painted, cleaned, and prepared the grounds for our third Memorial Garden areas. Thank you to Commanding Officer Capt. Todd Vandegrift who graciously joined his crew at work!
We also got to meet US Navy Rear Admiral Babette “Bette” Bolivar, who is first female commander of the Navy Region Northwest, and the first woman Commander of Joint Region Marianas. It was inspirational to see them helping our community! We are very thankful for their service!
