We had a great visit from a group of veterans with the Blind Rehab Unit, in West Palm Beach. They toured the Museum while they listened to the history of the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale. WWII veterans and Museum volunteers Buddy Galvin a naval aviator who flew B-24 Liberators in England, and David Epstein a Parachute Rigger with George H.W. Bush Squadron, talked about their experience in the war and shared stories with the veterans. Thank you to the therapists, nurses and instructors at the VA Medical Center for the great job they do!

News from Illustrator/artist Matthew Yee: "Attached are images of my merchandise related to the Avenger. The poster contains a brief introduction of the aircraft and a short story in remembrance of the featured flight crew ( Lt. Cosgrove/Loyce Deen/Denzek ). My next project is a F4F Wildcat with Lt. Cmdr Edward O'Hare's marking, and an SBD Dauntless (Battle of Midway) will come after that. Hope merchandise for both of F4F and SBD will be ready for Christmas." -- Matthew Yee Read about the inspiration behind these naval aviation designs: A War Story Inspires Art Want to see more illustrations and designs?
