James Gibson is well known as one of the first Florida Highwaymen artists, literally selling paintings from the trunk of his car in the 1950s. Painting Florida's landscapes for nearly 50 years, James Gibson is an accomplished artist – his paintings in high demand. Although the landscape has changed considerably since the 1950s, Mr. Gibson continues to capture the ever-changing cloud formations, brilliant sunrises and sunsets, and mystical-magical landscapes that portray the true essence of Florida's natural beauty.
