Display Bookcase

A large display bookcase was planned, constructed, assembled and finally completed!
It will be very useful as it will showcase many Museum artifacts that are being currently sorted and organized. The bookcase runs the length of the 25x7 foot On Final Approach mural. The project was led by Dr. John D. Bloom, with help from volunteers John Casey, Ray Rivera, Richard Haddad & Don Fallon.

To Denise Devlin - My father (James Walsh) died in 1992.If he were alive today he would be 86. I have a black address book that my dad kept with him while board ship in WWII. He has George Devlin listed as living at 988 Jefferson Ave Brooklyn NY. My father was from Brooklyn but met my mother in Boston while his ship was being repaired from bomb damage. My father ended up moving to Boston after the war and the rest is history. Although I still have aunts, uncle & cousins on my dad's side that still live in New York. My aunts probably knew George Devlin growing up in Brooklyn. My email is [email protected]

Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum

National Register of Historic Places. A Florida Heritage Site. Only remaining structure from WWII left on the naval base property. Home of Flight 19 one of the great aviation mysteries. A 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. The Only Military Museum in Broward County.
